Between is the story of a town under siege from a mysterious disease that has wiped out everybody except those 21 years old and under. The series explores the power vacuum that results when a government has quarantined a 10-mile diameter area and left the inhabitants to fend for themselves.

Prinicpal photography on this project began yesterday and is brought to you by award-winning writer/director Michael McGowan (Still Mine, One Week, Saint Ralph) and stars Jennette McCurdy (iCarly, Sam & Cat).

The Walking Dead S05 E02 Recap

Submitted by Spindles on Tue, 21/10/2014 - 07:59

After last week's explosive opener, it looks like this week we've hit the brakes. Some arty slow mo shots and double header scenes skirt over a few of details from the end of last season including Lizzie and Mika, Carol's actions at the prison and a bunch of other stuff including the extra stragglers we gained after The Governor's eradication attempt. We get the first hints that all may not be well as Darryl's Spidey sense goes off while catching up with Carol. My money is on it being Morgan Jones hunting the group for whatever reason he's come up with.

Previously on AMC's The Walking Dead...

We saw some very harsh events at the end of last season and we are reminded of one of the worst ones in this season's opening with a recap of the deeply unsettling fates of Lizzie and Mika. Then there's that line again that made me cringe at the end of the last episode and I'm dubious now as to how this is going to pan out.

For those of you eagerly awaiting Marvel's new TV shows due to hit Netflix in the coming year, Marvel have released the first images of Charlie Cox as the titular Man Without Fear along with some test footage at this year's New York Comic Con.

The costume is apparently inspired by the Frank Miller and John Romita Jr run on the original comic and looks set to be a dark take on the Hell's Kitchen Hero. This will mark the first of the Hell's Kitchen series due to air on Netflix which will be followed by Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist and an ensemble series of The Defenders.

The Flash S01E01 - No Spoilers!

And we are off to a slightly shaky but otherwise solid start to a super hero series. It doesn’t quite hit the ground running at 700 miles an hour, but a more sedate 70 or so.

It will do, and it’s enough to make you want more.

There are several things going for this episode:

It is a decent origin story. It has a likeable hero. The visuals are well done. An awesome cameo. Fairly decent dialog. Most of all it is in the same universe as a certain green clad archer.
