We start with a Navy wedding dinner, which ends up with corpses aplenty, covered in same substance that the Obelisk transforms people into.
Welcome back to the 80's.
The 1880's.
And, strangely the 1980's.
Both of these decades are mentioned in this episode, one as cover (the 1980's) for Henry to mask that he's talking about the other.
Flying cars, superheroes, gods, invisible Sky-borne aircraft carriers. Agents Of SHIELD often skirts the fantastic, stretching the boundaries of the possible to breaking point.
I know I said that Beth didn't really have much of a character last season, but there really wasn't any need to devote an entire episode to her. Because, as it turns out, she still doesn't have much of a character. But, for the sake of completeness, here's my recap of Beth's story.
It finally arrived. We've been waiting for what seems like an eternity to see whether the small screen adaptation lives up to the pure awesomeness that existed between the covers of the much revered Hellblazer series, which ran for an epic 300 issues between 1988 and 2013.
That’s more like it! This episode sees a welcome change from the last three episode, as well as a great crossover from the Arrow in the form of Felicity.
While doing some tests at the lab two inept security drivers transporting a diamond manage to get robbed. The team hear about it in time for Barry to investigate and save the day. Leonard Snart is the would-be perpetrator, and Barry manages to get a good look at him.
Yet another bad meta-human of the week episode. Just like Smallvilles ‘Krypto freaks’ somehow all people affected by the accident turn out evil. In the whole city the is just one good guy?
In this episode a member crime family has been killed. Guess what? It’s a meta-human, again. This one turns himself into poison gas, and has turned a little evil.
'It's time we had a talk, you and I.'
And at last, it looks like Finch is getting back in to the game, especially given the final words of the episode.
And it's about damned time, too.
It is my considered opinion that Gareth from Terminus talks too much. Seriously... A couple of minutes with this guy and even a zombie's brains would be dribbling out of its ears. After another diatribe as to why eating people is good, interspersed with lots of unneccessary shots of people eating their Bob Burgers, we discover that we were right last week and Bob did indeed get bitten. Perhaps we'll now get to see what happens when cannibals eat zombies.

The Earth has been messed up by humanity (again) but luckily there were a few space stations from various countries that joined together to form the Ark. 97 odd years later
Life is harsh, all crime is punishable by ‘floating’ – being thrown out of the airlock. Unless you are under 18. Things are failing on the Ark though and to save resources it is decided to send the teens to Earth to see if it is habitable yet.
