You can guess by the title of this rant that there are spoilers included in this article.

There are indeed spoilers.

Yes spoilers that spoil things in three movies.

Star Trek Into Darkness

Spectre

Star Wars - The Force Awakens.

And although at least two of these spoilers are now going to be common knowledge, I wanted to talk about WHY those spoilers exist , since there are parallels between all three.

So just to make absolutely sure that you have all had opportunity to not...

UPDATE: Details of UK release and screenings: http://tickets.attackontitanmovie.co.uk/

Last week’s Manchester Comic Con was an incredibly fun and surreal experience, from seeing the mass of ‘Attack on Titan’ cosplay to dancing ‘Metal Gear Solid’ cardboard boxes. I am still waiting on a few videos of Q and A sessions from the event covering the voice of Naruto, cast from the Arrow and two of Doctors (Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy). Unfortunately no gaming news from this event, but have no fear gamescom is pretty much here....

Those of you who listen to our NerdVsWorld show will know that we've been musing over this possibility for some time and it now looks like this particular door has finally been opened.

So this year I decided that I would embark on the Ready Player One Film Challenge, and attempt to watch every film named, referenced or alluded to in this most excellent of geeky books.

To that end I have compiled what I think is a complete list of every movie reference, and I shall be working through them, in no particular order, over the course of 2015. If you see any glaring ommissions from my list, please do get in touch and I shall update it accordingly.

Between myself and Spindles we'll be updating the list with the...

Fresh out of the Marvel panel at this years SDCC are these incredible posters that start the hype train for Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.

The trailer has yet to be officially released, but reports out of Comic-Con do suggest that we can look forward to seeing an epic Hulkbuster Vs Hulk confrontation.

It certainly looks like Earth's Mightiest Heroes are going to have a hell of a fight on their hands in Joss Whedon's long awaited sequel. I can't wait.

Check out the epic posters below.

A new trailer has been released for the long awaited sequel to 2005's "Sin City", and it's freaking awesome.

The new movie, in cinemas on the 22nd August, will once again weave together a number of different Sin City tales; and from the look of the trailer it looks as if the story "Family Values" will play as big a part in the film as "A Dame to Kill For"

A third story, rumoured to have been written specifically for the film, is "Just Another Saturday Night".  Whether this is a new story, or a re-working of a short...

With just over a week to go until the UK release of Dawn of The Planet of the Apes, the marketing machine at 20th Century Fox is really kicking into overdrive. Three short films have been released, bridging the ten year gap between Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, that have collectively been called Before the Dawn of the Apes.

Year 1 tells the story of a family split apart by the outbreak of the Simian Flu virus.

Year 5, and most of humanity has been wiped out by the Simian Flu. One...

Chronicle director Josh Trank has been confirmed as director for one of the proposed stand alone Star Wars movies to be released in addition to the new core trilogy. Details are few and far between for now, but I would expect the internet to be ablaze with news in the forthcoming weeks, especially as shooting continues on Episode VII.

Trank states, "The magic of the Star Wars Universe defined my entire childhood. The opportunity to expand on that experience for future generations is the most incredible dream of all time."
