DC Cinematic Universe

Well... That was a big announcement.

What do we make of that then folks?

  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, directed by Zack Snyder (2016)
  • Suicide Squad, directed by David Ayer (2016)
  • Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot (2017)
  • Justice League Part One, directed by Zack Snyder, with Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams reprising their roles (2017)
  • The Flash, starring Ezra Miller (2018)
  • Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa (2018)
  • Shazam (2019)
  • Justice League Part Two, directed by Zack Snyder (2019)
  • Cyborg, starring Ray Fisher (2020)
  • Green Lantern (2020)

Dawn of Justice - Zack Snyder....?  Well, at least it isn't going to be Bryan bloody Singer, thank Satan!
David Ayer for Suicide Squad?  Alrighty, let's see what he's got - he's already cut his teeth with action movies, right?  And he seems to be able to write...
Wonder Woman... Gal Gadot... I would love to see a movie based on the Brian Azzerello work, but I'm not convinced Gadot is the right person for the job; Diana has CURVES!

JL parts 1 and 2?   Ummmm... yeah.. what's with the casting?  Personally, I'm all for Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin reprising their roles on the big screen.  Sam L. Jackson gets funky TWICE as Fury in Agents of SHIELD so why not port them over for the films?

Jason Momoa as AquaMan... ummmm, yes... sure... good choice, I figure... give him the overhaul the character needs.
Ezra Miller as the Flash?  Ummm.. no... I just can't see it... at all...

Shazam, Green Lantern and Cyborg movies?  yes please... but they can turn them out before the audience gets bored of the current DC persona dramatis; with such a massive role call for them to pull out of the hat, they're really holding back on EVERYTHING!  ANd yet WB and DC canned the  JUstice League UNlimited run without adequate replacement.  Go figure...
