Event Details

The Asylum Steampunk Festival is the largest and longest running steampunk festival in the World, attracting participants from around the globe. It takes place over the August Bank Holiday weekend in the historic City of Lincoln.

For four glorious days the historic streets of Lincoln are thronged with thousands of splendidly dressed steampunks enjoying a festival which strives to combine art, literature, music, fashion, comedy and simple good fun.

This website will help you if you are a steampunk day visitor, a participant with a wristband ticket or a member of the public.

What’s on

Our timetable of events will list all the official events – and clearly indicate which are open to all and which are for wristband holders only. We will also be attempting to list all the steampunk community events and associated activities which help to give this steampunk festival such character.

Where to go

We have information pages on all the major festival venues – with maps and pictures to make sure you get to the right place. We also have a section on where to collect your wristband and one on how to get to Lincoln.
