What is Mancunicon?

Mancunicon is the 2016 Eastercon, the British National Science Fiction Convention. Eastercon has been held over the Easter weekend each year since 1955, and is a gathering place for science fiction fans from around the UK and elsewhere. Mancunicon will build on that long tradition, and, we hope, bring something new as well. Covering books, film, TV, art and costume over a wide range of science fiction and fantasy, the programme will include talks, discussions, exhibits, quizzes, workshops and entertainment. Look around the site, follow us on Twitter or Facebook, and find out more. We hope to see you there!

Committee and staff

The Mancunicon team came together at the last minute to ensure that there would be an Eastercon in 2016. It’s a team with long and diverse experience, and we’re all proud to be working on this together. You can find a full list of who we are on the committee and staff page. But we’re going to need help, and we’ll be calling for volunteers before and at the con – look out, and if you think you can help, let us know.
